Break or not; but it’s good to make New Year resolutions . Another year has just gone by and to begin the new one, we need to spice it up with some new wish lists.
I won’t snack; I won’t eat creamy food; I’ll avoid sweets and the list keeps adding on with the passing of ever year. But how many of us dare to keep up with it for the entire year. It’s hard to keep up promises, especially, if it’s a self-made one and it holds true for any diet resolution made during the start of the year.
But look at it from this perspective – How long can you deny yourself the luxury to look trim and fit. As diseases are spreading like wild fire, we need to be mature enough to realize the need to make a personal choice with food habits. Habits die hard; so make your health resolution a habit. Make a healthy New Year resolution; stick to it at all times and notice how people admire you every time you decide to stick to your priorities.
Hit the gym or go to your dietitian or even your mom for a realistic diet plan that can bring you close to your target levels by the end of the year. Look at the sunny side of it – you’ll be the one who’ll be guilt free at the close of 2009 and be bold enough to take new and long-standing resolutions for the coming year too!
