Sleep for Good Health

Sleep is the best gift of nature. It’s a natural way of rejuvenating one’s health. In fact, it’s equally important as diet and exercise. Sleep needs vary from person to person. Most children need 10-12 hours, while grownups can manage with 5-8 hours of sleep.

Today’s fast paced world has induced sleep problems, as most of us experience high stress levels. Too much of work can release a large amount of adrenalin into the blood stream, keeping us awake most of the time. This prevents our body from getting enough relaxation.

Music, reading and exercises are some of the good sleep inducers. Soothing music, specially created to induce sleep can act as a balm to the troubled mind. Bedtime reading is also a good way to relax. Most muscles in our body get used when we exercise; leaving us tired enough for a good night’s sleep.

Devise new ways to relieve stress and enjoy a peaceful slumber for a healthy body, mind and soul.
